CaratRank is an independent diamond price comparison tool built to help shoppers find the lowest listed item price for the exact same certified diamond.
The core idea is simple: the same IGI, GIA, or GCAL certified stone can appear at multiple retailers with different listed prices. CaratRank searches across retailers, groups listings that refer to the same certificate when possible, and ranks sellers by listed item price.
What CaratRank does
- Compares lab-grown and natural diamond listings across online retailers.
- Matches identical stones by certificate number when that data is available.
- Flags lower-confidence likely matches instead of presenting them as cert-confirmed.
- Shows listed item prices, seller links, price history, saved searches, and watchlists.
- Helps users track price drops and compare offers before leaving for a retailer checkout.
What CaratRank is not
CaratRank is not a jeweler, broker, appraiser, grading laboratory, marketplace, or seller. We do not sell diamonds, take custody of stones, process retailer orders, guarantee availability, or decide whether a retailer will honor a listed price.
CaratRank is independent. Retailers cannot pay to improve placement, and we do not accept retailer commissions, referral fees, paid placement, or incentives to rank one seller above another.
